On Gözlü Bridge
On Gözlü Bridge is one of the historic multi-arched bridges built from basalt stone over the Tigris River. Located south of the city walls and Hevsel Gardens, the bridge forms one of Diyarbakır’s best-known views together with the Tigris Valley, particularly at sunset. The area around the bridge is an ideal final stop for combining the Suriçi historical route with open spaces along the riverbank.
