Zerzevan Castle is a Roman-period border garrison and settlement built on a high hill along the Diyarbakir–Mardin route. Its walls and towers, military and civilian structures, underground chambers, and the remains of a temple associated with the Mithras cult enhance the site's importance. Overlooking the vast plain, it also offers an impressive panoramic experience alongside its archaeological remains.
