Ravanda Castle
Ravanda Castle stands on a high, conical hill northwest of Kilis, commanding the surrounding area with its strategic defensive position. The remains that have survived to the present day include parts of the inner castle, walls and towers, cisterns, and traces of building foundations. Used during the struggles for regional dominance among various powers, including the Seljuks, Artuqids, Ayyubids, and Mamluks, the castle stands out today for both its historic ruins and its sweeping rural views.
