Zeugma Mosaic Museum
The Zeugma Mosaic Museum presents mosaics brought to light through excavations in Gaziantep and its surrounding area, particularly at the ancient city of Zeugma on the banks of the Euphrates, in an extensive exhibition layout. Opened to visitors in 2011, the museum’s best-known works include the “Gypsy Girl” mosaic. Floor mosaics from Roman-period villas, sculptures and archaeological artifacts provide a strong starting point for understanding the city’s ancient past.
