Dört Ayaklı Minare (Four-Legged Minaret) is one of Diyarbakır’s most distinctive architectural landmarks, with its unique minaret resting on four stone columns at Şeyh Mutahhar Mosque. Perceived at street level, the structure forms a strong visual unity with the narrow historic fabric of Suriçi. It can easily be visited along a short walking route together with the Ulu Mosque, Hasan Paşa Hanı and the nearby churches and bazaars.
