Malabadi Bridge

Malabadi Bridge, near Silvan, is one of Southeastern Anatolia’s best-known historic bridges, with its broad stone arch and monumental structure reflecting Artuqid-period engineering. The rooms on both sides of the main arch and the stonework show that the bridge served not only as a transportation structure but also functions related to shelter and rest. It is a strong stop on cultural routes to Diyarbakır’s eastern districts.
