Soğmatar Ancient City
Soğmatar is an important sacred site and settlement in the Tek Tek Mountains, associated particularly with lunar and planetary cults during the Roman period. The reliefs and inscriptions on Sacred Hill, Pognon Cave, rock-cut tombs and monumental tombs with different plans are among the site's notable features. When planned together with Harran and Bazda Caves, it forms one of Şanlıurfa's lesser-known archaeological routes.
