Karahantepe
Karahantepe, located in Şanlıurfa’s Tek Tek Mountains region, is one of the most important centers of the Taş Tepeler research project, known for its monumental Neolithic structures and T-shaped standing stones. Structures carved into the bedrock, stone sculptures and ritual areas provide strong archaeological evidence of the early stages of settled life. Considered together with Göbeklitepe, it offers a much broader perspective on Şanlıurfa’s prehistoric heritage.
