Bazda Caves
The Bazda Caves are an impressive system of galleries formed by large stone quarries operated for centuries to supply the stone needs of the historic structures in and around Harran. The extraction of stone blocks created towering pillars, spacious chambers and tunnel-like passages, transforming the site from a natural cave into a monumental stone space shaped by human hands. It is one of the most notable stops along the Harran–Soğmatar route.
