Adiyaman Museum

Adiyaman Museum is the city’s principal museum, offering the opportunity to explore the region’s archaeological heritage from the Paleolithic period through the Commagene, Roman, Byzantine and Islamic periods. Stone artefacts, coins, ceramics and ethnographic collections from excavations and rescue projects at Nemrut, Perre and surrounding sites provide an excellent introduction to the region’s history before visiting the archaeological sites themselves.
