Zeugma Mosaic Museum

The Zeugma Mosaic Museum presents mosaics unearthed during excavations in Gaziantep and its surrounding area, particularly at the ancient city of Zeugma on the banks of the Euphrates, in an extensive exhibition setting. Opened to visitors in 2011, the museum’s most renowned works include the “Gypsy Girl” mosaic. Floor mosaics from Roman-period villas, statues and archaeological artefacts provide an excellent starting point for understanding the city’s ancient past.
