Yesemek Open-Air Museum
The Yesemek Open-Air Museum and Sculpture Workshop is an extensive ancient sculpture production site near İslahiye, associated with basalt quarries. Its many completed and unfinished sculpture drafts allow visitors to observe, in the open air, the production process from extracting stone at the quarry to shaping it. The site is one of Gaziantep’s most distinctive archaeological attractions outside the city center.
