Yesemek Open-Air Museum

Yesemek Open-Air Museum and Sculpture Workshop is an extensive ancient sculpture production site connected to basalt quarries near İslahiye. Its numerous completed and unfinished sculpture drafts make it possible to observe, in the open air, the production process from extracting stone at the quarry to shaping it in antiquity. The site is one of Gaziantep’s most distinctive archaeological attractions outside the city center.
