Kasımiye Madrasa
Kasımiye Madrasa is one of Mardin’s most impressive historic educational buildings, located on the city’s southwestern slopes with a spacious courtyard, fine stonework and views stretching across the plain. Its arcaded courtyard, classrooms and the use of water as part of the architectural composition give the building a calm and balanced character. As it is located separately from the Old Mardin center, it can be planned together with a route to Deyrulzafaran Monastery or Dara.
