Kilis Kastelleri

Kilis Kastelleri are distinctive structures that preserve the city’s traditional water culture and public fountain architecture. Known locally as kasteller, meaning fountains, they were once the visible parts of a system that distributed water brought from springs and wells to the neighborhoods. Salih Ağa, Fellah, İpşir Paşa and the other registered kasteller add character to walking routes through the old streets of Kilis.
