Kilis Ulu Camii
Kilis Ulu Camii is one of the city’s oldest and largest mosques and an important architectural stop within the historic urban fabric. Its rectangular-plan prayer hall, dome in front of the mihrab, stone-decorated portal and geometric ornamentation are among the building’s notable features. Together with the surrounding traditional streets, mansions and other religious buildings, it forms part of a compact Kilis city route that can be explored on foot.
