Ulu Camii

Bursa Ulu Camii, built at the end of the 14th century during the reign of Bayezid I (Yıldırım Bayezid), is one of the most monumental examples of early Ottoman mosque architecture with multiple domes. With its twenty domes, an indoor ablution fountain and spacious prayer hall featuring various examples of Islamic calligraphy, it is one of the main focal points of Bursa’s historic centre.
