Cumalıkızık

At the foothills of Uludağ, Cumalıkızık is an important historic settlement that preserves traces of the early Ottoman settlements around Bursa and the traditional village fabric to the present day. Its narrow stone-paved streets, bay-windowed houses and preserved residential fabric offer a cohesive setting in which early Ottoman rural life can be understood. Bursa and Cumalıkızık together are included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
