Zeynel Bey Tomb

Built in memory of Zeynel Bey, the son of Akkoyunlu ruler Uzun Hasan, Zeynel Bey Tomb is one of the region’s most distinctive monumental tombs, with its cylindrical body and tile decorations. The inscribed tile bands encircling the body and its geometric ornamentation give the structure a strong visual identity. Today, it is visited as one of the principal monuments around Hasankeyf’s new cultural park.
