İshak Paşa Palace
Located above Doğubayazıt on a high hill overlooking the plain, İshak Paşa Palace is a large building complex with the character of a külliye, comprising the palace, courtyards and various service units. Its construction began in the late 17th century and was completed in the 18th century. Its stone decoration brings together the traditions of the Ottoman and Seljuk periods with influences from the Caucasus and the areas around Iran.
