Balık Gölü

Balık Gölü is one of Ağrı’s most tranquil nature routes, with its high elevation, clear water and expansive mountain landscape. Located within the boundaries of Taşlıçay and Doğubayazıt, the lake is suitable for birdwatching, photography and short nature breaks along the shore. The small island on the lake and its aquatic ecosystem, known for red-spotted trout, add to the area’s natural value.
