Sebastopolis Ancient City
Sebastopolis, located in the district center of Sulusaray, developed on a mound with a history dating back to the Early Bronze Age and gained particular importance during the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods. Rescue excavations and surface finds show that the city was a thriving center along important roads during the Roman period.
