Noah’s Tomb

Noah’s Tomb is one of Cizre’s best-known pilgrimage sites and a defining part of the city’s religious identity. The burial site associated with the Prophet Noah in local belief and historical narratives is now part of a complex featuring a mosque, ablution fountain and other visitor facilities. Together with the stories of Mount Cudi, it lies at the heart of the region’s themed religious route.
