İzmir Clock Tower
Located in Konak Square, İzmir Clock Tower was built in 1901 to mark the 25th anniversary of Sultan Abdülhamid II’s accession to the throne and has become the city’s best-known symbol. The 25-metre-high, four-storey octagonal structure, with its fountains, stonework and strong connection to the square, is the natural starting point for exploring central İzmir.
