Uzungöl
Located in Çaykara district, Uzungöl is a natural lake formed when Haldizen Stream was blocked by masses of rock that broke away from the surrounding slopes. Situated at an altitude of approximately 1,090 meters, the lake is one of Trabzon’s best-known nature destinations, with steep slopes, dense forest cover and traditional wooden highland architecture in its surroundings.
