Uzungöl
Uzungöl, located in the Çaykara district, is a natural lake formed when the Haldizen Stream was blocked by rock masses that broke away from the slopes. At an elevation of approximately 1,090 metres, the lake is one of Trabzon’s best-known nature routes, with steep slopes, dense forest cover and traditional wooden highland architecture in its surroundings.
