Ağlayan Kaya
Ağlayan Kaya, located on the foothills of Mount Spil, is a natural rock formation associated with the legend of Niobe. The rock’s shape and seasonal traces of water are considered together with the mythological story, told for centuries, that Niobe was turned to stone and wept; the site is one of Manisa’s emblematic places where nature and legend meet.
