Crying Rock
Crying Rock, located on the foothills of Mount Spil, is a natural rock formation associated with the legend of Niobe. The shape of the rock surface and seasonal traces of water are considered together with the mythological story that Niobe was turned to stone and wept for centuries. The site is one of Manisa’s iconic destinations where nature and legend come together.
