Tortum Waterfall
Tortum Waterfall, in the Uzundere district, is formed as the waters of Lake Tortum spill into the valley after passing over the lake’s natural landslide dam. According to the official source, it is approximately 21 metres wide and 48 metres high. Viewing balconies and the surrounding natural landscape make the waterfall one of the most striking nature stops along the Erzurum–Artvin route; its flow is especially strong in late spring and early summer.
