İhlasiye Madrasa

İhlasiye Madrasa is one of Bitlis’s most important educational buildings, with its cut-stone architecture and layout continuing the classical Seljuk aesthetic. Dating to the late 16th century, the madrasa forms a historical whole together with the Şerefhanoğulları tombs around it. The restored building is one of the strongest stops on Bitlis’s central cultural walking route.
