Ihlasiye Madrasa
Ihlasiye Madrasa is one of the city’s most important educational buildings, featuring cut-stone architecture and a layout that continues the classical Seljuk aesthetic in central Bitlis. Dating from the late 16th century, the madrasa forms a historic ensemble with the Sharafkhanid tombs surrounding it. The restored building is one of the highlights of a cultural walking tour through central Bitlis.
