Ankara–Eskişehir Tour Programme

DAY 1: Ankara (Museum of Anatolian Civilizations - 1st and 2nd Parliaments - Anıtkabir) – Eskişehir

After breakfast (extra) at a suitable facility along our route in the morning, we visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, which houses unique works from many civilizations that left their mark on Anatolia and is regarded as one of the world’s outstanding museums.
Museum of Anatolian Civilizations
Following this impressive visit, we tour the buildings of the 1st Parliament (War of Independence Museum) and the 2nd Parliament (Republic Museum), witnessing history through our guide’s narration. We then head to Anıtkabir, the eternal resting place of our Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Anıtkabir
We walk along the Road of Lions, lined on both sides with statues representing power and peace, reach the mausoleum and observe a moment of silence. We then begin our visit to the Atatürk and War of Independence Museum. We complete our Anıtkabir visit after seeing the monumental panoramas depicting the Gallipoli Campaign and the War of Independence, the National Struggle and Revolution galleries, and special sections displaying Atatürk’s books and manuscripts.
After our visits, we take our seats on the bus and depart for Eskişehir. After settling into our hotel in Eskişehir and having dinner, we retire to rest and recover from the pleasant fatigue of this full day immersed in history.

Day 2 Program – Eskişehir

After breakfast at our hotel, we head to Sazova Science, Art and Culture Park, one of Eskişehir’s largest parks. Here, you will have the opportunity to see many points of interest, including:

The Pirate Ship and Noah’s Ark,

A spacious 25,000-square-metre pond,

The zoo,

The Fairytale Castle, one of Eskişehir’s landmarks.

We then continue to the historic Odunpazarı district. As you walk among restored urban mansions and houses reflecting the Ottoman period, you will feel as if you are right inside history. After completing our photography with our guide’s explanations, we visit the Atlıhan Handicrafts Bazaar. You may explore it as you wish during the free time provided by our guide.

For lunch (extra), we have the opportunity to taste Eskişehir’s famous çibörek. Afterwards, we proceed to the city centre, where we see cafés and bridges notable for their modern appearance, the governor’s mansion, the municipality building and streets decorated with statues.

Guests who wish (extra) can experience the atmosphere of Venice with a gondola ride on the Porsuk River and the atmosphere of Amsterdam with a boat ride. We especially recommend having a cup of tea during our free time by the Porsuk River. ☕

At the appointed time, we gather under our guide’s direction and begin our return journey to our beautiful city of Trabzon. We say goodbye to you, our valued guests, hoping to meet again on other tours. 🌿
