Taşkale Granaries

The Taşkale Granaries are one of Karaman’s most distinctive examples of cultural heritage, featuring hundreds of storage chambers carved by hand into a clay-rich limestone rock face. The rock’s ability to regulate temperature and humidity enabled the traditional grain-storage method to be used for many years.
