Taşkale Grain Granaries

The Taşkale Grain Granaries are one of Karaman’s most distinctive examples of cultural heritage, comprising hundreds of storage spaces carved by hand into a clayey limestone rock surface. The rock structure’s ability to balance temperature and humidity enabled the traditional grain-storage method to be used for a long time.
