Kahramanmaraş Castle
Located in the city center of Kahramanmaraş, the castle is one of the city’s historic landmarks, thanks to its position on a hill overlooking the city and its defensive structure, which was restored throughout different civilizations. Finds dating back to the Late Hittite period have been discovered at the site; the castle was also used during the Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman periods.
