Tortum Waterfall
Located in Uzundere district, Tortum Waterfall is formed as the waters of Lake Tortum cascade into the valley over the lake’s natural landslide dam. According to official sources, it is approximately 21 metres wide and 48 metres high. Viewing balconies and the surrounding natural landscape make the waterfall one of the most remarkable nature stops along the Erzurum–Artvin route; its flow is especially strong in late spring and early summer.
