Amasra Castle
Amasra Castle consists of two main sections: Zindan Castle on the mainland and Sormagir Castle on Boztepe. The Byzantine-origin defensive structure was used during the Genoese period and underwent significant repairs in the 14th and 15th centuries; Genoese coats of arms and traces of reused stones have survived on the walls.
