Walking Mansion
Walking Mansion is one of Turkey’s most distinctive memorial sites from the Republican era, known for the story of the building that was moved approximately 4.8 metres on rails in 1930 so that the plane tree beside Atatürk would not be cut down. This small museum house presents environmental awareness and the history of modernization through a symbolic event.
