Uçhisar Castle

Uçhisar Castle, one of Cappadocia’s highest and most prominent rock formations, features rooms, shelters, storage areas and cisterns carved into tuff rock. It served both as a defensive structure and a panoramic viewpoint. From its summit, visitors can enjoy wide-angle views of Göreme, Pigeon Valley, the direction of Avanos and the surrounding volcanic landscape.
